Longroom is committed to, and actively practices safe and Responsible Service of Alcohol. All staff are trained above industry standards and are committed to the tactful refusal of service to any, and all customers who are unduly intoxicated and/or disorderly, whilst visiting Longroom.
The Longroom has a policy to serve patrons in a responsible, friendly and professional manor. We encourage patrons to drink in moderation and avoid drink driving
Longroom’s staff commitment to responsible service of alcohol ensures:
No alcohol is served to intoxicated patrons.
Staff will assist patrons in the decision to drink responsibly and in moderation.
No service of alcohol to people that behave in a disorderly manner.
Not to allow the sale or supply of liquor to any persons under 18 years of age.
Ensure that the promotions and advertising of liquor on the premises is conducted in a responsible manner.
Ensure no harm comes to patrons as a result of our service of alcohol.
Ensure customers safety upon being asked to leave the venue.
Non alcoholic beverages may be given to customers that are approaching unacceptable levels of intoxication.
The following policies and procedures have been adopted to ensure the Responsible Service of Alcohol:
All staff are trained by an accredited provider in Responsible Service of Alcohol.
A range of non-alcoholic and low alcohol drinks is offered on the premises.
We will not serve more than two nips of spirits in one glass.
Staff will contact the manager and notify them of a patron’s impending state of intoxication.
The management will assist when required to determine whether or not service is to be refused.
If service is refused, the staff will politely explain to the patron(s) that the premises cannot legally serve alcohol to the point of intoxication.
